When I was a kid, I watched my mom curate every little detail in our home. She would paint the walls new colors, bake us goodies, set the table beautifully and celebrate every single holiday. As I got into elementary and high school I began to paint my own bedroom and rearrange all the time just to relish in creativity. I didn’t know at the time but I was growing in my own love for design. As I went to college and then got married, I realized just how much my love for design and home became a passion. I began to see for myself that the details you curate through your home, for the people you love, and in your community really do make an impact. Home is the beginning of where your own worth and identity form.
My mom and I have always antiqued together, finding special pieces for our homes and for others. We designed my home when I moved into it. I would help her with design clients and with her own space. We always have dreamt of a business together where we could share in our love for home, design, and the details that make life special. As we started to talk and brainstorm, Bobby Jean began. Our main hope is that we can bring light to the beauty of home and what you make it. Whether that’s through the products we sell or the pieces we write, we hope that this space can be an encouragement to love where you live and that God would be glorified in how we care for our homes.
I truly believe that home is the beginning of building strong and kind confidence within your children and yourself. Home sets the epitome of how we lead and love, which follows us wherever we go out into the world. Design and homemaking isn’t just about a paint color or a recipe, but it forms the habits of love and care that we give to others. Welcome you to a community where we’ll learn how to steward our home well and may it all be to the glory of God.
Thank you for being here ❤️
