Chocolate Mousse

I'm telling you that this dessert makes you look like a certified home chef yet takes no time at all. It's easy and delicious! If you use some fancy glassware it really steps it up a notch too! Here's what we do:


Half bag chocolate chips

2 1/2 cup whipping cream

1/2 tablespoon vanilla

1 tablespoons powder sugar



Place 2 cups of whipping cream in freezer to chill (15-30 minutes)


Slowly melt the chocolate chips and 1/2 cup whipping cream over the stove with whisk and then take off the heat to let cool to room temperature.


While the chocolate is cooling, put the chilled whipping cream in a mixing bowl, pour vanilla and powder sugar in bowl and mix on medium speed until stiff peaks form


Once chocolate sauce is cooled, pour into whipped topping and lightly fold in. Place in refrigerator until ready to serve!


I love to serve with crushed Oreos and mini chocolate chips!
